ASHBURN, Ga. (WALB) - The Ashburn Department of Public Safety (APS) has identified the suspect in a shots fired incident on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

Ja’marick Macorio Flores, 20, is the suspect, according to police.

Officials say Flores saw his adversary in a red Hyundai Elantra and fired 18 shots at the car. The car was hit twice. No injuries were reported.

He then fled the scene, police say.

Flores is being charged with:

• Aggravated assault
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
• Possession of a firearm by a felon or first offender
• Discharging a firearm on a highway
• Reckless conduct

More charges are pending, APS said.

APS say he acted on his own, and this is gang-related.

He is known to frequent the Ashburn and Tifton areas.

The police ask anyone who sees Flores is asked to call 911, and do not approach him. He is considered armed and dangerous.
