Description
GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A community complaint about speeding and racing along Highway 112 and Sapp Road led to swift action from local deputies, resulting in multiple citations and arrests.
According to officials, deputies received reports late Sunday night of several vehicles racing and speeding in the area. Law enforcement responded promptly and, within an hour, issued several citations to drivers, including some clocked traveling more than 90 miles per hour.

During the traffic stops, deputies also discovered some drivers were operating vehicles with suspended licenses, while others had outstanding warrants from outside the county.
Officials say the incident highlights the importance of residents reporting suspicious or dangerous activity. They credited community members for speaking up and helping deputies respond quickly to keep local roads safer.
Law enforcement encouraged the public to continue reporting concerns, saying teamwork between deputies and residents helps build a stronger and safer community for everyone.
