ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - There’s a slight risk of severe storms covering much of South Georgia today.
The primary threat will be a damaging wind gust with a narrow-broken line of thunderstorms ahead of an approaching cold front from 4pm to 8pm.
There’s a higher hail and an isolated tornado threat for communities along a line from Plains to Fitzgerald to Ambrose northward from 4pm-6pm.

Drier and cooler air will invade tonight.
