BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - A local business is opening its doors as a warming shelter for residents without power or adequate shelter during the winter weather.
Skatetowne in Bainbridge will serve as a warming shelter Monday, Jan. 26 from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m.
The business is also accepting donations to support those seeking shelter.
Representatives from Skatetowne said they are helping individuals and families in need during the cold weather.
