ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Today starts with fog, but it clears out by the late morning. Cloud cover will remain through the afternoon and evening as southerly winds usher in warm, moist air. Highs today will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. Rain chances will remain low through the night, with lows for Saturday morning in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Saturday is breezy and sunny. Winds will be out of the south, reaching upward of 30 mph. However, the storms will arrive by late night and early Sunday. Sunday is a First Alert Weather Day. An enhanced risk (3 out of 5) of severe weather from the Storm Prediction Center, highlighting a high threat for damaging winds, tornadoes, and hail. Flash flooding cannot be ruled out as storms move through. Storms start moving in around 2 AM on Sunday and continue until 2 PM.

A few isolated showers and storms will persist into the evening. After the front moves through, we will cool down by Monday morning, with lows in the 40s. By Monday afternoon, highs will be cooler in the 60s. Sunshine will be in abundance throughout the day. Dry conditions remain in place through Thursday.
