ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A semi-truck crashed Thursday, Jan. 29 at an overpass near Moultrie Road. The crash occurred at about 5 p.m.

As a result of the accident, the overpass will be reduced to a single eastbound lane for the coming weeks, the Albany Police Department (APD) said at about 10:10 p.m. Thursday.

The overpass is reportedly within the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive and the 1200 block of Moultrie Road.

APD said that traffic is expected to fully reopen by 11 p.m. Thursday. Cones and signage were placed in the affected area, and drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through, according to APD.

Both Moultrie Road lanes—east and westbound—were initially closed, and vehicles were being rerouted.

APD said that no serious injuries were reported.

The crash is near the Oak Grove Estates mobile home park.
