ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department (APD) announced another person of interest in a deadly July 3 shooting.

During Media Monday on July 14, police asked for the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Jarod Jaheen Holsey for questioning.

This is connected to the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Jamarion King.

King died after being shot in the 1400 block of Edgerly Avenue.

Police now say that his death is connected with the murder of Patrica Duncan, who was shot and killed on her front porch hours after King.

Investigators believe a local gang dispute led to the violence.

On July 7, APD identified 22-year-old Jarrod Deontan Williams as a person of interest in King’s death.

Police are still looking for the following persons of interest in Duncan’s death:

• 32-year-old Jamarious Devonte Wright
• 18-year-old Deshon Camond Garner

Albany Police Chief Michael Persley is asking anyone with information to come forward, even if it means reporting a family member or friend.

“It’s only a matter of time before some harm comes to those who are around them. So if we are not being open and honest with the people we call our friends, who are our relatives, those who just have any kind of influence, are not having honest conversations with them, then that means we are enabling,” said Chief Persley.

If you have any information, you are asked to call the APD to give investigators an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers where a $2,000 reward is offered in each case.
