QUITMAN, Ga. (WCTV) - A Quitman man was arrested Friday in connection to a child molestation case, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Daniel Torres, 49, was taken into custody the same day the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to assist, the state bureau of investigation wrote in a press release Tuesday.

The 49-year-old man faces charges of aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery. WCTV is working to obtain the suspect’s mugshot.

He was booked into the Brooks County Jail.
