ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — WALB’s programming schedule was adjusted for Father’s Day weekend due to the U.S. Open, which starts at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19.

The event will air on NBC Friday from 1:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Then, it continues at noon on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21.

Because of this, WALB’s afternoon shows—4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.—will NOT air on NBC Friday. Nor will the 6 p.m. newscasts on Saturday or Sunday.

Friday afternoon’s newscasts and the weekend 6 p.m. shows will be available in real time on ABC, WALB streaming apps (Roku, Fire TV, etc.), online and on the WALB News 10 mobile app.
