ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Starting Monday, April 7,  the south end of Broad Avenue alley in Albany will be temporarily closed to facilitate cleaning of the second and third floors of the building located at 115 N. Jackson St.

The closure is part of ongoing maintenance, with a trash trailer collecting debris; however, it will not obstruct access to the Dougherty County Public Library.

Motorists and pedestrians in the area should expect delays and are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the vicinity.

The closure is expected to last until Friday, April 11, 2025, or until the work is completed.
