ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be donating $200,000 to Habitat for Humanity to aid with the revitalization of the Good Life City.

This donation will help to build a Habitat home on the property donated by Phoebe.

This will be the second Habitat home built on former Phoebe property, with three more houses in the works.

Phoebe leaders will present a check to Habitat leaders on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 11:45 a.m. before the Flint River Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors meeting at Habitat for Humanity Restore located at 2815 Old Dawson Road.

WALB’s Katelyn Barker will be in attendance to speak with leaders and learn more about how this donation will help the community.
