Description
(Gray News) - Pain-relieving ointment sold at Walmart and Target has been recalled.
Mamisan Pain Relieving Topical Ointment jars were recalled because the packaging is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the ointment is swallowed by a child. Because the ointment contains lidocaine, it is required to be in child-resistant packaging.

The ointment comes in an orange container with a white continuous thread lid and has the Mamisan trademark printed on the lid and on the label.
Only jars with UPC 860006498115 are included in the recall.
Consumers should immediately place the ointment jars out of the reach of children and contact Plantimex to receive a free replacement lid.
The ointment was sold at Walmart and Target from April 2024 through October 2025 for about $10.
