Description
(CNN) - Severe weather that hit the Atlanta-area Friday night has caused problems for Delta Air Lines.
The airline must inspect more than 100 aircraft before they can fly again after the storms brought quarter-inch hail to the region.
The affected planes were on the ground during the storm.
A Delta employee said its maintenance teams were quickly working through the backlog.
The severe weather led to major delays in and out of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is the world’s busiest airport.
Delta is headquartered in Atlanta.
