ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany will be extending Operation Safe Space once again.
According to a release, the shelters will be open through Thursday night.
“According to the current forecast, freezing temperatures are expected to continue overnight through Thursday, January 16,” the release said.
The Albany Transit Center, located at 300 W. Oglethorpe Blvd., will be used as the warming shelter on Wednesday and Thursday.
Each day, the warming center will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day. The Transit Center will be open to the public for the start of business at 7 a.m.
