BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - A popular bargain outlet is opening another location in South Georgia.

On Wednesday, May 28, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet will hold its grand opening in Bainbridge at 9 a.m. The store will be located off of East Shotwell Street in the old Fred’s, next to Goodwill.

Ollie’s is known for discounted prices on books, electronics, health and beauty products, and more, according to the press release.

“We are excited to open our 14th store in the great state of Georgia, where the folks have been so good to us,” said Eric van der Valk, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. “With so many great deals, we’re thrilled to provide shoppers in Bainbridge and its surrounding areas with a treasure hunt experience where they can find a huge selection of brand-name merchandise at up to 70% off the fancy stores’ prices every day.”

According to a press release, about 50-60 jobs are brought to local communities with each new Ollie’s store.
