GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down in Grady County on Thursday at 7:03 a.m..

The tornado had estimated peak winds of 80 mph and was on the ground for almost two miles. No deaths or injuries were reported from the storm.

“A brief tornado touched down along Georgia Highway 111, downing a couple of trees. The tornado moved east, crossing Gainey Road, where a couple of additional trees were uprooted,” the NWS report says.

The EF-0 tornado quickly dissipated before reaching Pine Hill Road, per the NWS.
