Description
VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — A former state representative from Valdosta is entering a guilty plea to fraud charges.
Dexter Sharper and two other state representatives are accused of lying on pandemic unemployment forms and taking nearly $14,000 in benefits.
Sharper entered the plea just days after he announced on social media that he was stepping down from office.

He is scheduled to be sentenced July 21.
