Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A portion of North Monroe Street will be closed beginning Thursday morning due to construction work.
City officials say N. Monroe Street will shut down at 8 a.m. on February 19 from West 4th Avenue to the 4th Avenue Alley. The closure is expected to last approximately two days or until the project is complete.
The ambulance turnaround at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will remain accessible throughout the construction.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and expect possible traffic delays while work is underway.
