ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - An active end to March as a squall line tracked across SGA on Monday. Storms passed through with gusty winds, heavy rain and hail. The line weakened as it pushed further east bringing an early end to the severe threat.

Tonight gradual clearing gives way to widespread fog and mild low 60s Tuesday morning. Look for much nicer conditions with plenty of sunshine and warm low 80s through the afternoon.

Instead of cooling down, a big warm-up gets underway. Unseasonably warm and mostly dry through Wednesday through Saturday. Temperatures rise about 10-15° average as highs top upper 80s around 90° while lows only drop into the low-mid 60s. Isolated showers may creep in from the SE on Wednesday otherwise rain-free until the end of the weekend. Expect the next round of storms on Sunday with showers holding on Monday. Also, cooler air dives in dropping temperatures below average with highs back into the 60s.
