THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — The Thomas County School System has announced a name change for one of its schools.

In a post shared on the school system’s official Facebook page, officials revealed that Bishop Hall School will now be known as Thomas County Academy.

The announcement stated, “While the name has changed, our commitment to student success remains as strong as ever.”

The school system also hinted at more updates to come, encouraging the community to “stay tuned” for further details.
