GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Multiple people were placed in custody Friday, Jan. 9 following Operation Shield the Innocent in Grady County.

The Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), along with other agencies, executed a search warrant on Sunset Lane. Officials said they arrested multiple people on charges of sexual exploitation of children.

It is unclear exactly how many arrests were made. In a photo posted by the GCSO Facebook page about the operation, it appears that four people are in handcuffs.

The sheriff’s office also posted a video to its Facebook page in regards to Operation Shield the Innocent. In the video, it appears that several people in handcuffs are led out of the backseats of GCSO vehicles by deputies.

Deputies say more arrests are expected. At this time, there is no danger to the public, GCSO said.
