Monroe Comprehensive High School has named Bokowski T. Daniels as the new head football coach of the Golden Tornadoes.

Daniels, a Monroe alumnus, returns to his former school after six years at Westover High School, where he served as defensive line coach, defensive coordinator and assistant head coach. He was named the 2024 1-AAAA Defensive Coordinator of the Year.

After graduating from Monroe, Daniels played football at Carson-Newman College, where he was part of three conference championship teams.

Coaching experience

Daniels brings collegiate coaching experience from his time as a defensive line coach at Albany State University. He also participated in the Bill Walsh Minority Coaches Internship with the NFL Tennessee Titans.

At Westover, Daniels helped build defensive units and develop student-athletes while establishing a culture focused on accountability, preparation and pride, according to the announcement.

The school said Daniels brings vision, structure and leadership while emphasizing excellence on the field and character development.
