Perry, Ga. (WGXA) – — The judges have spoken! The Georgia National Fair officially has its winners of the 4th annual Fair Food Fight.

Fairgoers had the chance to watch live judging Friday as 20 vendors brought their most creative concoctions.

Judges had to rank the foods based on the taste and creativity - each on a one to five scale.

2025's Miss Georgia, Audrey Kittila and TikTok stars Josh and Momma were in attendance rating food, as well as our very own William Bazzone!

Swift Concessions' "Tybee Island Dog" won the Judge's Savory Choice award.

The bacon-wrapped hot dog is deep fried, covered with local Georgia Pimento Cheese, homemade jalapeno mustard and crumbled bacon.

Owner Zach Swift says it's the first blue ribbon they've won all year.

"The Tybee Island Dog was special just for the Georgia Fair," Swift said Friday. "Pimento cheese being a Georgia staple and Tybee also being a Georgia staple... we're excited."

On the sweet side, Griff Gillette won his second-straight Judge's Sweet Choice award with his over-the-top Cookie Butter Sandwich Extravaganza

The sandwich features homemade vanilla bean ice cream swirled with cookie butter, soft semisweet chocolate chunks and Biscoff cookie crumbles between a rich chocolate cookie and a classic chocolate chip cookie dipped in chocolate.

"Just keep thinking outside the box," Gillette told WGXA. "We always say, we're so far outside the box now we're back in and just keep trying to come up with something a little more creative."

It's the third time in four years that Gillette's storefront, Polar Bear Ice Cream, has won an award.

He added he's already come up with next year's concoction in his head already.

William says he recommends the Elote Quesadilla from Fiesta Grill - and aforementioned cookie sandwich.
