ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) is hosting an Independence Day celebration on Friday, June 26, that is open to the public.
Gates at Covella Pond open at 5:30 p.m. with live music. The party runs until about 9:45 p.m., capping off with a large fireworks show around 9:30 p.m.
Organizers say anyone 16 and up will need an ID to get on base. Adults 18 and older must show a Real ID or passport.
Officials remind guests that no outside food or drinks, weapons, pets, or personal fireworks are allowed.
