ALBANY, Ga. – A deadly crash that happened early Tuesday morning, February 10, on Holly Drive has led to the arrest of a 37-year-old Albany man.

Authorities say a male and female were involved in the accident. The female victim, identified as Emonica Dawson, was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

According to Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler, the driver, identified as Jartavious Bernard Fraizer, 37, was arrested Wednesday, February 11, and is facing DUI charges in connection to the crash. He is currently being held at the Dougherty County Jail.

At this time, exact details surrounding what led to the crash remain under investigation.
