LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - On Saturday, March 22nd, the Lee County fire department responded to a fire behind a home on David Road.
When WALB News 10 arrived on the scene, fire crews were working to put out a fire in a shed. A neighbor we talked to said, he heard a loud boom. Another neighbor said he is a homeowner next door and said something caught fire in a shed and ignited either a paint can or a propane tank.
The Lee County firefighters put water on a shed behind the neighbor’s home. Lee County Fire Captain Brandon Brown confirmed the fire was contained at 8:40pm.
No one was hurt in this fire.
