Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Today features plenty of sunshine and cloud cover. Temperatures will remain warm in the upper 80s with some low 90s in areas close to Valdosta. A few isolated packets of rainfall are possible during the afternoon and evening before winding down overnight.
A cold front passes through the area on Sunday, leading to a few showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall will mainly occur during the afternoon and evening as temperatures rise into the upper 80s and low 90s. No severe storms are expected at this time.
As high pressure rebuilds over the Gulf heading into the start of the work week, rain chances will drop but remain isolated through Wednesday. Temperatures will drop slightly by the end of the work week as a new frontal system moves through.
