GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — An ongoing drug investigation in Grady County has resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics and the arrest of one person, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence and discovered illegal narcotics packaged for distribution, authorities said. Investigators also recovered cash that is believed to be connected to the alleged drug activity.

One person was taken into custody during the operation.

The investigation remains active, and the Grady County Sheriff’s Office said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
