Description
CLINCH & ECHOLS COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - The Georgia Forestry Commission says a stray spark from a welding operation caused the Pineland Road Fire in Clinch and Echols County.
The GFC says the fire is approximately 31,976 acres and is 10% contained as of the latest update on Friday, April 24.
The GFC says 35 structures have been lost from the fire and 187 homes are currently threatened.
