ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Georgia’s First Alert meteorologists take a look back on significant weather events impacting the state over meteorological spring, which ran from March 1 to May 31.

Plus, we’ll look ahead to the official start of summer and what that means for Georgia’s weather. Spoiler alert: we know it’ll be hot, but how will it compare to average?

Meteorologist Emily Acton from WRDW in Augusta, Chief Meteorologist Yolanda Amadeo from WALB in Albany and Atlanta News First First Alert Meteorologist Isaac Williams break down what to expect this summer.
