Description
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Florida bill filed in the House and Senate seeks to delete provisions requiring validation stickers on license plates.
The bill proposes that the provisions requiring every license plate to have validation stickers, certain license plates to have the stickers, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to give certain entities the stickers and validation stickers to meet certain specifications should all be removed.

It also proposes to add a requirement for registration renewals to be recorded electronically.
The bill was filed in the House by Rep. Tom Fabricio, R-Fla., while the Senate bill was filed by Sen. Ana Maria Rodriguez, R-Fla.
The bill continues that provisions that authorize corporations to make validations should also be removed.
