TODAY: Severe threat is over, all severe thunderstorm warning and Tornado Watches have expired. The rest of the day looks peaceful.

Showers will work their way out of the Southeastern counties as we head through the rest of your afternoon and evening. A few sprinkles may linger behind in SGA heading into the evening, but overall most the rainfall is done for the day. This evening looks mild and soggy, temperatures will fall to near 60 by early Friday morning.
FRIDAY: Drier and cooler overnight. Plenty of clouds tomorrow, but not much rain.
WEEKEND: Saturday brings back the showers and thunderstorms by afternoon. Mother’s Day may turn into a monsoon with an additional 1″-2″ of rain.
EARLY WEEK: Showers linger for the first part of Monday.
MID WEEK: Cooler mornings and warming of afternoons with tons of sun is expected.
