Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) -

A potential strong line of storms will make their way into South Georgia late Wednesday night and continue through Thursday morning. The main impact will be damaging winds up to 60 MPH, isolated heavy downpours that could result in Flash Flooding, and maybe even small hail. Tornados do not look likely.

Overnight severe weather threats are always more dangerous because most folks are sleeping and cannot react to severe weather if it shows. Make sure to have multiple ways to receive severe weather updates, and most importantly, make sure they can wake you up. NOAA Weather Radios are the best way to receive updates as soon as they come from the National Weather Service. Having the WALB Weather App and following WALB Weather on Facebook are great alternative as well.
