ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - It is day seven of testimony in the trial of Evelyn Odom, accused of killing her 5-year-old daughter, Kenyatta “KeKe” Odom, in 1988 and leaving her body in a wooded area in Ware County.

Today, Odom’s former partner and co-defendant is expected to take the stand again.

Odom faces charges including felony murder, child cruelty, aggravated battery, conspiracy, and concealing a death. She has pleaded not guilty on all counts.

On Thursday, jurors heard an audio recording from the day Odom was arrested in November 2023, when GBI agents questioned her about her daughter’s death.
