FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after veering off the freeway and hitting a California Highway Patrol motorcycle and a tow truck on Saturday.

A CHP officer was investigating a prior crash when a 22-year-old driver veered off the freeway, hitting his motorcycle and a tow truck.

Luckily, the CHP was off his motorcycle and avoided any injury.

There were no reported injuries to any bystanders.

The driver was arrested for DUI.
