GRADY, Ga. (WALB) - On Sunday, June 15th, a drunk driver reportedly hit a Grady County patrol vehicle.
According to a Facebook post by the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, A Tallahassee man was clocked by deputies a short time ago driving 65mph in a 35mph on Highway 84. The vehicle failed to stop when signaled to do so by deputies ultimately hitting a patrol car at airport road and Highway 84.
The driver, who was impaired, now faces multiple charges, including
- Felony Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement
- Reckless Driving
- Driving on a Revoked License
- Speeding
- No Seatbelt
- DUI Drugs
- Possession of Marijuana
No deputies were injured during the incident.
The Sheriff’s office says, “a drunk driver is off the road on his way to jail.”
