Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Tonight’s lows will fall into the seasonable mid to upper 50s. Skies remain clear, and a little jacket is needed to get out the door on Monday.
Monday is dry as high pressure continues to settle over South Georgia. Temperatures will remain mild in the low to mid-80s by the afternoon. Sunny skies are likely throughout the day. More cool lows in the 50s are expected heading into Tuesday morning, but temperatures rise back into the mid to upper 80s starting Tuesday afternoon.
As our high-pressure system slides east, another storm system develops to our west starting on Wednesday. This will bring in higher chances of rainfall heading into the next weekend. As rain chances remain persistent, there are concerns for excessive rainfall that could lead to flooding. Severe weather may be a concern Thursday through Saturday.
