ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Denver Bryant, a Dougherty High School alumna from Albany, Ga., is playing in the inaugural season of the Women’s Professional Baseball League, suiting up for the Boston Hunters.

Bryant has three hits, two runs scored and two stolen bases through 12 at-bats across her first four games. She has also driven in six runs and recorded a double.

Early impact for Bryant, Hunters

Bryant played at Dougherty High School in Albany, Ga., before going on to Auburn. She is now in her first season with Boston as the franchise begins its inaugural WPBL campaign.

Her next game is scheduled for Thursday on the ESPN platform.
