ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A Dougherty County school bus was involved in a crash Tuesday, Aug. 11.

There were children on the bus during the time of the incident; however, no injuries were reported, according to the director of community relations for Dougherty County School System (DCSS).

The school year started for DCSS on Aug. 3. Since then, two Dougherty County school buses have been involved in wrecks.

A third school bus was involved in an accident in Worth County.

According to photos circulating on social media, the wreck appears to have been on Liberty Expressway and Williamsburg Road.

The bus driver was cited in connection with the incident, according to DCSS.
