ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Law enforcement met a Delta flight as it landed at the Atlanta airport on Monday after an onboard fight, according to the airline.
Delta flight 2293 was headed from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport when the argument between a flight attendant and a passenger broke out.
The circumstances of the fight are unknown, and it’s unclear if anyone was injured or arrested.
“Delta has zero tolerance for disruptive or unruly behavior, especially when it impacts the safety of our people and our customers,” the airline said in a statement. “We apologize to our customers for the disruption and will cooperate with law enforcement.”
The flight had two pilots, four flight attendants and 180 passengers onboard.
