DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is alerting residents about a scam.
The sheriff’s office said scammers are calling residents asking for payment over the phone for bond payments.
The sheriff’s office said it will never call for over-the-phone payments. All bond payments must be paid in person at the Decatur County Jail.
