GEORGIA. (WALB) - The Georgia Department of Driver Services or DDS warns drivers to avoid uncertified driving schools. The agency says, uncertified schools may lead to wasted money and customers not receiving proper credit toward their driver education for Joshua’s law or driver improvement requirements.
“It is important that customers select schools that are certified by DDS to ensure students receive consistent, comprehensive, and up-to-date instruction on traffic laws, road safety, and risk reduction.”
DDS says, uncertified schools may lack instruction that adheres to state regulations. The DDS agency says using a certified school ensures instructors and curriculum are compliant and with Georgia law. Certified instructors undergo state mandated training.
