Description

CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - The Cordele Police Department (CPD) conducted another search for 19-year-old Nyeasha Pickens on Tuesday, July 15.

According to CPD, an extensive search was done in the wooded area off of North Pecan Street in the 900 block as part of the investigation into Pickens’ disappearance.

CPD was joined by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, and Butts County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Jeff Burdett and his K-9 partner, Zita.

Police say evidence collected throughout the investigation led officers to revisit this area for another thorough search.

According to CPD, Pickens was not located.

Pickens is described as standing at 5′06, weighing 160 pounds, she has brown eyes, and black hair that could be red or have red streaks. She was last seen wearing a white crop top and cheetah print shorts with “Big Mama” across the back.
