CUTHBERT, Ga. (WALB) - A local motorcycle club organized a charity ride Saturday to benefit a Randolph County father whose wife and two children were killed in a wrong-way DUI crash in Lee County.
The Punishers LEMC Flint River Chapter hosted the “Dice Ride for the Spann Family” to support James Spann. His wife, Bernedine Spann, and their children, Ja’Leah and Jaxton Spann, died in the crash.
Route and participation
The ride began Friday, March 7, at Shellman Depot. Participants traveled through Cuthbert, Fort Gaines, Edison, and Morgan before returning to Shellman Depot.
Local businesses and community members took part in the event.
