ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The northbound right lane of N. Washington Street between Flint Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue will be closed due to sidewalk construction on Friday, Jan. 9, per the City of Albany.

The northbound left lane is open but has been narrowed due to the construction. The right lane will remain closed until the work is complete.

The city of Albany urges motorists to use caution when traveling in the area and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
