Description

CAMILLA, Ga. (WALB) - The Camilla Police Department (CPD) is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying three men accused of passing counterfeit $100 bills at multiple Walmart locations across South Georgia.

According to investigators, the three male suspects visited the Camilla Walmart on Dec. 7, 2025, where they allegedly used counterfeit bills to make several purchases. Authorities say the same individuals are believed to have visited at least two additional Walmart stores, the Adel Walmart and the Lee County Walmart, where similar fraudulent transactions occurred.

Photos of the suspects and the vehicle they were reportedly traveling in have been released to help the public identify them.

The Camilla Police Department is working closely with several agencies, including the

  • Lee County Sheriff’s Office
  • Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office
  • Albany Police Department
  • Adel Police Department

Anyone with information about the men or their whereabouts is urged to contact Investigator M. Hall at 229-336-2201. Authorities remind the public that all tips can play a crucial role in helping bring those responsible to justice.
