VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — Vivian Davis, 46, was arrested Aug. 28 after pointing a gun at several people, including three children, according to Valdosta police.

Police say they were called to a home in the 1200 block of McArthur Drive near Powershine Pressure Washing after neighbors reported hearing gunfire.

Witnesses told police they saw Davis arguing with a man before walking into a nearby home with a gun.

She allegedly pointed her gun at people inside the home, including three kids under the age of 10, police say.

Bystanders told police she walked out of the home and fired a shot outside. Police say there were no injuries.

Police later found Davis’ car in the 1000 block of Hideaway Street near the Azalea Woods Apartments, where she was arrested.

Police Chief Leslie Manahan called Davis’ behavior “a blatant disregard for human life.”

Davis, a convicted felon, now faces nine new felony charges, including six counts of aggravated assault, burglary, and multiple firearms charges.

She also faces a misdemeanor charge for discharging a firearm near a public highway.
