BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Bainbridge is alerting drivers of an upcoming road closure.

Beginning Wednesday, July 16, Alice Street will be closed between West Street and the Walmart entrance.

The road will be closed for resurfacing which the city says is “necessary to improve road conditions”.

All traffic except local residents will be affected by this temporary closure.

To access Walmart and the shopping center, drivers will be required to enter Alice Street from U.S. Highway 27.
