PEARSON, Ga. (WALB) - Rachel Taft was named valedictorian of Atkinson’s graduating class while also signing to play soccer at the next level.
Taft is heading to Truett McConnell University in the fall.
The center back was selected as team captain her junior and senior years.
Taft led the team in blocks and steals and helped the Lady Rebels reach the state quarterfinals this season.
