The giveaway was part of the club’s annual charity event at Tift Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids collected raffle tickets, and as numbers were called, they received a bike matched to their size.

Tyrone Robertson, a club member, said the event is about more than just bikes.

“To see the kids smile and their parents coming out, taking the time to get them out of the house so they can still come out and have a good time. It’s not just about giving bikes to the community. We partner with them, just like they always partner with us. And it makes a difference.”

The event included food and games. The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office and the Albany Fire Department attended to support the children.
